Field

This section of the website is focussed on field events and:

1. lists the various field officials, and
2. describes what each is expected to do.

This section also contains a brief summary of the rules applicable to field events, by discipline, both for outdoors and indoors events, and the recommended procedures for the conduct of field events. Access this information by selecting from the menu on the left.

It should be noted that the positions described is for a full complement of officials. In practice, especially at smaller local meets, individual officials may be called upon to perform duties of several different positions simultaneously.
